Ramanajachar Thiruvadigale Saranam:  Our Srivaishnavism Siddhantam is as old as Veda itself. All the Vedas, Upanishads, Ithihasa Puranas, and the Pancharatra and Vaikanasa Vaishnava Agamas undoubtedly establish the Supremacy of Lord Srimannarayana and the religion Srivaishnavism.Our Jagadacharya Swami Ramanuja established the Seventy Four(74) Simhasanadhipathis all over and Swami himself had toured extensively throughout the country and had visited all the Srivaishnava Divya Desams where the presiding deities are copiously praised by the mystic saints, the Alwars. The foremost among the Seventy Four Simhasanadhipathis instituted by Swami Ramanuja is the Vadhulakula Tilaka Sri Mudaliandan Swami. Appachiaranna is the direct descendant of Sri Mudaliandan Swami and occupies the ninth (9) positions in the order. Swami Appachiaranna was addressed by Swami Manavala Mamunigal as "Nam Appachiarannao".
Swami Annavilappan, Thirukumarar of Appachiaranna Swami lived in Singaperumal koil in the service of Sri Pataladhri Narasimha Perumal as ordained by Lord Narasimha. The Lord of Singapermal Koil Pataladhri Narasimha, appeared in the dream of Swami Annavilappan and ordered him to set right His abode which was covered under sand dunes and establish a place with agraharam and kainkaryaparas and to live ever in HIS Service. Accordingly, Swami Annavilappan followed the divine order and lived his full life time in the service of the Lord of Singaperumal Koil.
 Sri U.Ve.K.K.V.A.Ramanujam, our Swamy, currently adorning the Acharya Peetam in our Thirumaligai, is residing in our Thirumaligai in Singaperumal koil. The Thirumaligai at Singaperumalkoil which was built many years ago is in a dilapidated condition requiring extensive reconstruction. Our Swami had ordained that a small sannaidhi be built in that land belonging to the Thirumaligai before any reconstruction/modification work for the residential portion could begin. Accordingly, work has been initiated to build a Sannidhi to house the Thiruvaradhana perumals of our Thirumalaigai after which Mandapan, Thirumadappalli, Goshala and Kannadhi Aarai, residential place for our Swamy etc. are proposed for construction.We appeal to all Thirumalaigai Sishyas to participate and contribute liberally in this kainkaryam either cash or in form of Cement, Steel and Bricks as well. All Contributions received by Cash, cheques or DD will be acknowledged with the official receipt of Dasarathy Trust.
