Sri Nathayamuna sabha requests help from Srivaishnavas in creating a corpus fund for the Annual utsavams of Sri Nathamunigal and Sri Alavandhar at their birth place at Kattumannarkoil. Both the utsavams has sponsors for conducting the utsavams in the temple. But the sabha is actively engaging in sponsoring the adhyabakas, thatheeyaradhanams to adhyabakas and general public, conducting left over utsavams in the temple etc.
Vedics has been supporting this sabha $500 every year as part of Special kainkaryam.
Now it is proposed to collect a minimum of Rs.5000 (approx. $125) from 51 members for Nathamunigal Utsavam and a minimum Rs. 5000 (approx. $125) from 51 members for Alavandar utsavam so that a corpus of Rs. 2.5 lakhs can be created for each utsavam which will fetch an interest of Rs. 20000 per year as per the current interest rates. The collection for the same has started.
Corpus fund collection
Here is a rare opportunity to serve our dear acharyas, first in our guruparampara Sri Nathamunigal and Sri Alavandaar (Yamunacharya) that too in their avatara stalam during the thirunakshatra mahotsavams. Moreover this corpus fund will support not primarily the utsava activities but help to serve bhagavatas who join the celebrations.
